Volunteer Youth Worker – Ethereal Youth Hub
Ethereal Youth Hub is opening in September 2026, and we're looking for passionate, reliable people to join our volunteer team.
Ethereal is a new youth space for young people aged 15+, created to give them somewhere to connect, create, have fun and develop new skills.
The Hub will include areas for fashion and design, photography and content creation, gaming, a salon/barber space, our Snack Shop and a range of youth activities.
The role
As a Volunteer Youth Worker, you'll help us create a welcoming and positive environment for young people. You'll support activities, build positive relationships, get involved in projects and help with the day-to-day running of the Hub.
You don't need to be a qualified youth worker. We're much more interested in your attitude, reliability and passion for working with young people.
We're looking for people who are:

- Comfortable working with young people aged 15+
- Responsible and able to maintain appropriate boundaries
- Willing to get involved and bring your own ideas
Reliability is really important to us. We're building a team that young people can trust, so if you commit to volunteering with us, we need you to be someone who turns up and gets involved.
What the role involves
As a Volunteer Youth Worker, you will:
- Support the running of youth sessions for young people aged 15+
- Build positive, appropriate relationships with young people
- Welcome and engage with young people and encourage participation
- Support activities, projects and events across the Hub
- Get involved in areas such as fashion, photography, content creation, gaming and the Snack Shop
- Help create a safe, welcoming and positive environment
- Be a reliable member of the team and commit to the sessions you agree to attend
- Bring your own ideas, interests and creativity to help shape Ethereal Youth Hub
