We are seeking a People & Recruiter Advisor / HR Generalist to join the People & Culture Team at Aspiration Training.
Aspiration Training is a Best Companies 'Outstanding' company to work for and we have an exciting opportunity for an HR generalist with a passion for recruitment and onboarding to join the team for a minimum 12 month, maternity cover, with the possibility for extension.
The role is remote, with two office-based days per week either in Redditch or Newport, depending on your location.

Salary Banding is £30,000 - £32,000 + Quarterly Bonus OTE related to role KPI's.

Key Duties
Working in conjunction with the Director of People & Culture and other function team members to influence and support a successful people function in order to fulfil business objectives
Providing a generalist HR service to the organisation including recruitment, grievances, disciplinary and performance management issues
Key duties
People:
· Ensure own CPD and professional competency is maintained
· Strive to maintain positive working relationships across the team
· Maintain a flexible approach to support your team and the wider business
· Provide advice and support to the management team with regard to all aspects of HR and people management
· Ensure all processes have correct and timely communication and administration to underpin them
· Support with TUPE processes including the undertaking of ELI gathering, attending consultation meetings, presenting business information and drafting measures information
· Support with organization design planning and processes, including the delivery of proposals, supporting consultation meetings and ensuring legal adherence to process.
· Work with management teams to develop sustainable talent acquisition plans and strategy
· To take full responsibility for sourcing and onboarding candidates against the recruitment policy and associated practices
· Manage and ensure that all recruitment advertising and activity supports and promotes the company brand through internal and external platforms
· Proactively ensuring effective resourcing and workforce planning requirements are monitored, evaluated and fulfilled
· Represent the HR function at all times, working within statutory, best practice, employment law guidelines and ensuring consistent interpretation and understanding
· Work in partnership with managers in order to ensure performance management objectives are met
Quality & Compliance:
· Keep up to date with and adhere to company, policies and procedures at all times
· Take responsibility for the protection of data in line with policies and procedures
· Commits and contributes to maintaining an effective safeguarding culture and takes responsibility for helping to protect colleagues and learners against any risk of harm, including all types of bullying, radicalisation or abuse

· Ensure that colleagues and learners are safeguarded against all types of bullying, radicalisation or abuse
· Ensure all relevant employment legislation is being followed and all company policies, procedures and practices are being met and understood by the business
· Assisting in the development of HR processes and systems to ensure the effective collation and timely reporting of data
· Assisting in the development and communication of policies and procedures
· Ensure value for money with all HR expenditure, looking for opportunities to reduce costs where possible and there is always a return on investment. .
· Ensure that all aspects of safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements are met
· Report on compliance with safeguarding checks including all aspects of safer recruitment
· Report on outcomes, costs, trends, potential areas for continuous improvement for example from the recruitment/onboarding and induction process
· Support the delivery of the ATL brand through our workforce, by ensuring all HR activity is aligned with our brand values and through delivering a range of initiatives which promote, reinforce and embed a positive internal culture
Stakeholders:
· Promote a positive and professional image of the company and all of the services it delivers through excellent customer service
· To demonstrate and uphold the company values, creating a great place to work for all
· Establish sound relationships with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
· Promote a positive and professional image of the Company and all of the services it delivers
· Representing the HR function to provide advice and guidance as required, attending and presenting at company meetings if required
· Developing and maintaining strong working partnerships with Managers
· Coaching and providing advice to Managers within a wide range of diverse and complex HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management to ensure performance and management objectives are met.
Growth:
· Contribute positively to growth of the business by controlling costs
· Proactively seeking to ensure the continuous development of the HR function
· Ensure effective candidate resourcing of the business against KPI’s
· Coach and mentor people managers to maximise performance within teams
· Work with wider HR team to identify efficiencies and areas of opportunity
Due to the nature of work and the stakeholders we work with, we follow strict safer recruitment practices to include behaviour interviews coupled with competency CV and qualification checks. Furthermore, all roles are subject to an enhanced DBS, 3 years referencing and social media checks upon successful employment.
