As part of our friendly Distribution Team, this role is responsible for handling finished goods coming from Production, picking and scanning orders and moving and storing produce via our fleet of forklifts.
Moving and tracking goods around the factory and getting them onto our haulage ready to go out across the UK is a key to what makes Kettle Produce what we are today.
This is for our Tuesday to Saturday Dayshift, based at Balmalcolm.
Shift pattern :
Tues & Weds 11.00 – 16.45
Thurs 08.45 – 16.45
Fri & Sat 05.00 – 16.45
Due to the variety of the role and sharing of responsibilities across the team, every day is different. Distribution is a very busy department, and you will be working in a lower temperature environment. Of course we provide full PPE to keep you warm!
We are keen to speak to you if you have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within our small tight knit team, have great communication and numeracy skills, and are confident about working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with a friendly manner.
Forklift driving experience is preferred. However, we have extensive in-house training opportunities for candidates who show they are keen to learn and progress at interview. We also run refresher courses for those with expired tickets. All offers are subject to a satisfactory Occupational Health Screen.
Due to the shift pattern start/finish times, having your own transport is preferable.
