Position: Operations Assistant (Driver & Merchandising)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Purpose:
We are looking for a flexible, reliable team member to support the day-to-day operations of Blue Tiger. This role combines deliveries, merchandising, customer service, and general operational assistance.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, interacting with customers, and adapting to a variety of tasks.
Candidates must be comfortable driving longer distances.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Placing orders for internal storage
- Putting pallet deliveries away
- Keeping the storage area tidy and making sure FIFO is in place
- Delivering to long-distance clients
- Picking up out-of-stock items from Booker when needed
- Skip runs for wastage and rubbish disposal
- End-of-month stock count & inventory
- Booking van maintenance when approved by management
Key Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Good attention to detail
- Physically capable of handling stock deliveries
- Comfortable working independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable Experience:
- Delivery driving
- Merchandising
- Field service or customer-facing roles
Contract:
- Part-time
- Minimum 21 hours per week
- Thursdays (Hull) 7am-5pm
- Friday (Manchester) 7am-5pm
- Additional 3 hours per week to be worked completing admin tasks
Location:
- Travel throughout Manchester, York and Hull is required
