Glam & Go Training Academy is a VTCT-accredited training centre based in the Treaty Centre, Hounslow, delivering beauty therapy qualifications from Level 2 to Level 4 alongside our working salon and aesthetics clinic. As new learner cohorts get underway, we're expanding our education team. **The role** We're looking for a Beauty Assessor to assess learners working towards Level 2 and Level 3 beauty therapy qualifications. You'll carry out practical observations in our training salon, mark written work and portfolios, give constructive feedback, and keep assessment records accurate and ready for internal and external quality assurance. **What you'll do** - Plan and deliver fair, consistent assessments of practical and theory work - Observe learners in real and simulated salon settings - Give clear, supportive feedback and agree development actions - Maintain accurate assessment records and learner portfolios - Track learner progress through to completion - Complete around 2 hours of paid remote admin each week (records, feedback write-ups, portfolio updates) **What we're looking for** - Level 3 beauty therapy qualification or above (VTCT/NVQ/VRQ) — essential - Recent hands-on industry experience in beauty therapy — essential - Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1 or equivalent) — preferred, but we will support the right candidate to work towards one - Organised, reliable and confident giving feedback to learners - Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check **Nice to have** - Experience assessing VTCT qualifications - Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS) - Familiarity with e-portfolios or IQA processes **Hours and pay** - 2 days per week, 12:00pm–5:00pm on site (days agreed on appointment) - Plus 2 hours per week of paid remote admin - 12 hours per week in total **Why join us** - Modern training academy in central Hounslow, well connected by tube and bus - Support to achieve your assessor qualification if you don't yet hold one - Staff discount across our salon and aesthetics clinic - A growing academy with scope for more hours as cohorts expand
Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour
