SELF-EMPLOYED PRIVATE DENTAL HYGIENIST|£475–£675 PER DAY | 1–2 DAYS PER WEEK

Rate: £475–£675 per day, depending on experience and session structure
The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our established mixed nhs & private dental practice on a self-employed basis.

You will have the autonomy to provide exceptional hygiene and preventative care while working alongside a friendly and supportive dental team.

The Role
You will provide high-quality dental hygiene and preventative care to our private patients, helping them maintain excellent oral health and periodontal stability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive dental hygiene and periodontal treatments
- Carrying out hygiene assessments and providing appropriate preventative care
- Delivering tailored oral hygiene instruction and patient education
- Supporting patients in improving and maintaining their oral health
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records
- Working collaboratively with dentists and the wider dental team
- Maintaining excellent standards of cross-infection control
- Providing a professional, friendly and comfortable patient experience
- Working in accordance with GDC standards and professional guidance
About You
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist who is:
- GDC registered
- Professional, reliable and well organised
- Passionate about preventative and periodontal care
- Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills
- Confident working independently
- Committed to providing exceptional patient care
- Keen to build strong, long-term relationships with private patients
- Able to work effectively as part of a professional dental team
