Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food preparation and service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and food safety regulations
- Lead the team in cooking and food production tasks as needed to maintain service levels
- Monitor customer service standards to guarantee guest satisfaction and handle any complaints or concerns promptly
- Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance reviews to promote team development
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the restaurant
- Maintain stock levels by ordering supplies in a timely manner and managing inventory efficiently
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality ingredients are sourced at competitive prices
- Implement marketing initiatives or special events to enhance the restaurant’s profile within the community
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and kitchen operations
- Experience in hospitality management roles such as hotel or barista experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with health regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
