Duties
- Conduct comprehensive security checks throughout the premises to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
- Perform routine commercial cleaning tasks to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas
- Monitor CCTV systems and perform regular patrols to oversee the security of the property
- Assist late-night visitors or contractors with access and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Complete detailed logs of security activities, cleaning schedules, and incident reports during your shift
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles with a strong attention to detail
- Previous security or night porter experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking patrols, and light lifting
- Excellent observational skills with a proactive approach to safety and cleanliness
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible attitude towards overnight shifts
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems is advantageous

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
