Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Steel Project Manager to join our team and oversee projects from initial contract award through to successful completion.
The Role
As a Structural Steel Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing structural steel projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple structural steel projects from inception to completion.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, and resource plans.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Coordinate fabrication, logistics, and site installation activities.
Manage project documentation, reporting, and contractual requirements.
Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
Attend client and site meetings as required.
Support business growth through strong client relationships and professional project delivery.
About You
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the structural steel or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities.
Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
SMSTS qualification.
CSCS card.
Knowledge of relevant British Standards and steelwork regulations.
