We provide solar-panel installations, battery-storage systems, insulation solutions and heat pumps, supported by professional consultation, installation and ongoing customer care.
We are looking for an organised, dependable and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support our team at our Manchester office.
The Role
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the business. You will support customers, surveyors, installers and internal departments by keeping records accurate, managing appointments and ensuring that information is communicated clearly and promptly.

Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to customer emails
- Booking and confirming appointments, surveys and installations
- Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems
- Checking customer details, addresses and contact information
- Preparing quotations, letters, emails and general business documents
- Liaising with customers, surveyors, installers, suppliers and other departments
- Monitoring appointments and following up on outstanding actions
- Organising electronic and paper records
- Supporting the processing of installation and compliance documentation
- Handling customer enquiries professionally and escalating issues when necessary
- Assisting management and the wider team with general administrative duties
- Handling personal and commercially sensitive information confidentially
- Helping to maintain a positive and professional customer experience
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, office-based or customer-service position
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using Microsoft Office, email and database or CRM systems
- The ability to manage several tasks and changing priorities
- A proactive, dependable and professional approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience within renewable energy, home improvements, construction or installations would be helpful but is not essential, as appropriate training will be provided.
