Win at Retail are excited to announce we are recruiting for a B2B brand representative on a long-term contract. To be considered for this role, you must be available 2/3 days per working week (Monday – Friday) and you must be able to drive and have access to a car. On average, you will be working two days per week.
This role involves promoting our client’s brand and improving sell through in B2B office sales floors. To achieve this, you will develop relationships with account managers on the sales floor and provide support, so they push the brand. You will be based in distribution offices across a wide region.)
You will be required to answer emails and phone calls outside of the working days during the week in connection with this.
Relationship building, providing support & identifying opportunities
- Establish and maintain a working relationship with the sales teams for each office, this is to:
- Support the team with their accounts regarding the brand’s products.
- Identify and pass on to the brand’s team potential opportunities.
- Provide information on current or new lines.
- Make sure sales team are trained on products and have knowledge required to pitch brand.
- Support the sales team with ‘bids’ (special pricing) where necessary (tools provided).
- Have multiple inside contacts within each business.
Floorplan development
- Build a floor plan and keep this updated. This is to track who sits where, and which accounts they deal with. This is a part of relationship building and is used by MMD to know who to approach in the sales team with prior knowledge to their account details.
Remote contact
- Be available via email or phone to answer further requests from sales teams whilst out of their offices. One of the primary factors making the agent worth the sales team member/account manager’s investment worthwhile is having a contact they can get a response from faster than the MMD team.
Generate a daily report
- Listing what they have achieved each day, who they have spoken to, any bid support quoted, and opportunities identified.
To succeed in this role, you will be:
- Extremely confident in professionally engaging with account managers
- Have high levels of energy and enthusiasm
- Able to learn and retain information easily
- Very organised (you will be creating floor plans and scheduling meetings with account managers)
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to understand technological products
- Knowledgeable around the product ranges and an understanding of retail/distribution (comprehensive training will be given)
- Professional, reliable and have a desire to succeed in this project and future projects
- Likely to have previous brand ambassador, promoting or sales experience in a retail or office environment
- Ambitious, looking to develop and expand the accounts to assume further responsibility.
