Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Serve a variety of beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels regularly
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote specials or events
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve customers courteously
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- A friendly, approachable personality with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak hours as required
