Rigby's are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee supported living services within a large care organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring high-quality care delivery, and leading a team of care professionals. This role requires a strong background in assisted living, with strong knowledge of p&l, staff management, budgeting and CQC compliance. The Operations Manager will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a compassionate, safe, and supportive environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of supported living services, ensuring smooth operational functioning.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate care staff to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, including Learning Difficulties.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards.
- Coordinate staff training programmes to enhance skills.
- Reporting into the directors of the business regularly, and ensuring smooth running of each supported living service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Senior Care Management, especially adult supported living.
- Able to work 9am-5pm Monday to Friday in Blackburn with occasional travel within these hours to different sites.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Compassionate approach combined with excellent communication skills to support residents and staff alike.
- NVQ 5 Leadership and Management essential.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety standards.
