General Purpose
Interesting and varied role. Responsibility for the organization, coordination and management of the general office procedures in a Nursery School setting. Working with the Director/Nursery Manager to assist in the smooth running of the nursery.
A significant part of the role entails accurate methodical accounts work including invoices and grant funding administration, so requires a head for numbers and some experience with spreadsheets.
An interest in working with children and seeing them develop would be useful, but is not essential.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- management of the nursery offce
- general administrator/receptionist
- financial administration: invoicing, credit control, nursery grant
- assist with the management of events and functions
- assist with marketing and publicity
- point of contact for visitors, parents and staff
- order and allocate resources and supplies
- assist in the administration of HR procedures
- design and implement filing systems
- establish and monitor procedures for record keeping
- ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data
- assist with policies and procedures
- co-ordinate schedules, appointments and bookings
- review and approve office supply acquisitions
- handle customer enquiries and complaints
- maintain a safe and secure working environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
