Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, pastries, and more with precision and flair
- Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and adheres to food safety regulations at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation during busy service times
- Serve breakfast dishes promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, especially breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, and breakfast sandwiches
- Ability towork efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Serving experience or familiarity with customer service is a plus but not required
