THE ROLE
Climate Impact Partners is a leading provider of high-quality climate solutions, committed to enabling a thriving future for all life on Earth. We are seeking a Revenue Operations Analysis Lead to join our Revenue Operations team.
In this role, you will own the analysis and optimization of our sales and marketing funnel—bringing structure, visibility, and insights to our GTM strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, finance, digital, and leadership teams to understand performance drivers, identify growth levers, and ensure revenue-generating teams are equipped with accurate data to operate effectively.
This role is ideal for someone who blends analytical rigor with business acumen and is passionate about improving the effectiveness of how we bring climate solutions to market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Funnel Analytics
Analyze performance across the full GTM funnel—from lead generation through deal close and revenue recognition—to surface insights and conversion trends.
Track and optimize key metrics (e.g., lead-to-opportunity rate, opportunity-to-close rate, sales cycle length, pipeline velocity).
Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., in Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, web-based reports) to support visibility and decision-making..
Provide weekly/monthly reporting on KPIs, pipeline health, sales productivity, and attainment against targets.
Segment performance by rep, region, and product to uncover opportunities for coaching or reallocation.
Support sales leadership in pipeline hygiene efforts to ensure accuracy and forecasting confidence.
Monitor new business vs. expansion funnels to help drive appropriate strategy and resource allocation.
Process & System Optimization
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies in data and work cross-functionally to resolve them.
Partner with sales leadership to streamline processes for lead handoffs, opportunity stages, and pipeline tracking.
Support implementation of sales methodologies and ensure CRM workflows reflect agreed sales processes.
Collaborate with RevOps, Finance and Digital to ensure data cleanliness, CRM alignment, and accurate forecasting inputs.
Recommend automation opportunities to reduce manual data entry and increase sales team efficiency.
Use AI tools (including Claude and Claude Code) to accelerate analysis, reporting, and documentation, partnering with the Digital team to stay aligned on best practices and tool capabilities.
Partner with the Digital team, who own our Claude/AI tooling and core platforms (including Salesforce, D365, and Business Central), to identify new use cases for AI within RevOps and ensure adoption follows agreed governance and workflows.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting Support
Contribute to quarterly business reviews, go-to-market planning, and board-level reporting with data-driven insights.
Analyze historical trends to inform future revenue and funnel performance projections.
Work with sales leadership to understand rep performance drivers, ramp timelines, and capacity planning needs.
Support territory planning and quota setting by aligning historical conversion data with strategic growth priorities.
Provide proactive alerts on pipeline coverage, conversion trends, and sales velocity against plan.
Maintain a dotted-line relationship with FP&A to align revenue forecasts, budget inputs, and financial reporting cadences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the connective tissue between sales, finance, marketing, digital, and leadership.
Provide data-backed recommendations to inform strategy and improve GTM alignment.
Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Partner with Enablement to identify performance gaps and inform training priorities using data.
Participate in GTM retrospectives to assess what’s working and where pivots are needed.
Work closely with FP&A on financial planning alignment and with Digital on AI tool rollout, feedback, and continuous improvement of how RevOps uses AI.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience and Skills
- 2–4 years in a GTM analytics, sales/marketing operations, or RevOps role
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau), plus an appetite to move reporting onto web-based platforms
- Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to support analysis, reporting, and process improvement; willingness to learn new AI workflows as they evolve
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and marketing funnels and KPIs
- Analytical thinker with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
