About This Role
In this rewarding role, you will provide specialist nursing care to Freddie, a friendly teenage boy who lives with his parents and siblings in their family home in Leominster.
Freddie attends school full-time with the support of his dedicated care team. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, bowling, playing games, cooking, visiting the park, listening to music, and has a real love for animals, including his dogs, cats, chickens, and hamster.
Freddie’s care is centred around promoting his independence, choice, and involvement in all aspects of his daily life. Although he is unable to communicate verbally, he can express his wants, needs, and preferences using communication aids. As his Registered Nurse, you will work closely with Freddie and his family to provide compassionate, person-centred care while supporting his clinical needs.
You will be responsible for delivering, monitoring, and evaluating his specialist care as part of a skilled team providing 24/7 support. Care is delivered on a 2:1 basis during the day and 1:1 overnight, ensuring Freddie receives safe and tailored nursing care.
You may also be required to accompany Freddie to specialist appointments, which can occasionally involve overnight stays away from home. Hotel accommodation will be provided, with further details regarding travel and meal contributions shared with successful candidates.
Please note:
Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
