Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join our growing team. Darcy Construction delivers high-quality domestic and commercial projects across Hampshire, with values of up to £750,000. Our reputation is built on craftsmanship, reliability, and strong client relationships.
This hands-on role suits an experienced construction professional who leads by example. You will manage daily site operations while actively contributing on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
We are looking for someone who will work well in a small team and share our commitment to equal opportunity. This is a full-time position.
What you’ll be doing:
· Manage domestic and commercial construction projects up to £750,000.
· Coordinate trades, subcontractors, materials, and day-to-day site activity.
· Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and health and safety.
· Track progress and help keep projects on schedule.
· Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the management team.
· Lead by example and provide practical support on site when needed.
What are we looking for?
· Proven experience as a Working Foreman in the construction industry.
· A carpentry background is preferred.
· Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial construction projects.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Ability to interpret drawings and manage site operations effectively.
· A strong focus on health and safety, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· A full UK driving licence is preferred.
