Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant team. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system with professionalism.
- Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, lids, and condiments.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to foster a welcoming environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as required, including cleaning procedures and stock checks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is desirable but not mandatory; full training will be provided for those new to the industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for coffee and customer service is highly valued.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
