Job Title: Children's Home Dual Registered Manager (2x 4 Bed Homes)
Location: Weston-super-Mare / Bridgwater
Salary: £54,825.86 per annum – potential to earn up to £71,425.86 with bonuses
Working Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: Equivalent from £26.36 p/h + bonus potential
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs with EBD and associated complex needs
Qualifications Required:
QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (or equivalent)
Experience in Years Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years
- Minimum 1 year’s experience managing and supervising a staff team
The Home:
- Number of Beds: 2 x 4-bed homes
- Location: Weston-super-Mare and Bridgwater
- Type of YPs: Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Trauma, Neglect, CSE, CCE
- Ofsted Rating: New homes – newly registered
- Ratio of staff to children: Small teams dedicated to each home

You will be driven, organised, and thrive in environments that require clear oversight, positive energy, and a young-person-centred approach. You must:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulation , legislation and safeguarding practices
- Show confidence in managing operations, administration, planning and audits
- Be motivational , capable of developing a strong staff team, and delivering in-house training
- Have strong leadership , communication and community partnership skills
- Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed to the organisation’s mission
