Job description: We are currently looking for a Project manager to join our team. Whilst working closely with interior designers, architects & main contractors, the candidate will be responsible for doing site surveys, taking client approved concept drawings & producing detailed production drawings for the workshop floor. In addition to producing workshop drawings, they will also be responsible for overseeing the project through to completion.
Job Role:
- Site surveying & coordinating between other trades
- Producing production drawings for inhouse manufacture, sub-contracted components & installation
- Ordering materials/components & allocating to specific jobs
- Working with the workshop manager for efficient day to day running of the workshop
- Scheduling of work/projects on the workshop floor
- Managing projects from design through to completion
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD & Solidworks required
- Good knowledge of CNC capabilities required (Homag software preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience within the furniture/joinery industry
- Previous bench work experience essential
- Excellent knowledge of furniture and joinery construction methods
- Ability to keep and maintain good quality records and follow procedures
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Driving license required
