Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative (part-time) to join our team. In this role, you must have 2 years commercial cleaning experience, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services in various commercial settings, ensuring spaces are spotless, hygienic, and welcoming. This position offers flexible hours in both morning and afternoon shifts, perfect for individuals looking to contribute to a professional cleaning environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated commercial areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storage areas for cleaning supplies
- Complete cleaning checklists and documentation accurately after each shift
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes as required
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift cleaning supplies or equipment as needed
Pay: £12.71-£13.21 per hour
