Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant care home dedicated to providing exceptional senior care. Duties
- Lead the overall management of the care home, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of care and safety.
- Supervise and support care staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and development initiatives to promote a motivated and skilled team.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care requirements.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with legal regulations.
- Monitor compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, safeguarding policies, and quality standards across the home.
- Foster strong relationships with residents’ families and external healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care delivery.
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently to sustain operational excellence while prioritizing resident well-being.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on senior care or dementia care.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience within a care home setting.
- Knowledge of care planning processes and regulatory requirements related to elderly and dementia care.
- Registered nurse qualification or equivalent healthcare certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage medication administration safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and build positive relationships with residents and families.
- Familiarity with managing budgets, staffing schedules, and compliance documentation is essential.
