Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and communal areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to guarantee all areas are covered regularly and thoroughly
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and ongoing safety
- Maintain cleanliness logs and records of completed tasks for accountability and quality assurance
- Support team members during busy periods or special cleaning projects as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with professional cleaning techniques
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
- Ability to operate various cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, or steam cleaners is preferred
