Job Title: Long-Term Maths Teacher

A secondary school in South Croydon is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher for a long-term teaching role starting 1st June until the end of the academic year. This opportunity is available on a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) basis and includes full planning and marking responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Maths teacher with strong behaviour management skills to join a supportive and well-structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons (KS3–KS4, KS5 desirable)
- Full lesson planning, preparation, and marking
- Assess, track, and support student progress and attainment
- Maintain a positive learning environment through strong classroom and behaviour management
- Follow school policies and contribute to departmental planning
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching secondary Maths in the UK
- Strong behaviour management – essential
- Ability to deliver structured, engaging lessons independently
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to high standards
