Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver and Installer to join our team. This role involves transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and installing products accurately at customer sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and physical strength for heavy lifting tasks. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including commercial lorries, to deliver products to clients' premises.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secure during transit and handling heavy lifting as required.
- Install products at customer locations following specified procedures and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules and installation requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and report any issues or delays promptly.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
- Assist in warehouse activities such as stock organisation and inventory checks when not on deliveries.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving credentials.
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures related to manual handling.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Prior experience in installation work or related technical tasks is desirable but not mandatory. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of managing physical demands while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Pay: £12.51-£13.00 per hour
