What You'll Be Doing

Acting as the first point of contact for referrals, ensuring patients are connected to the right Marie Curie services quickly and efficiently.

Managing referrals from healthcare professionals, including GPs, hospitals, district nursing teams and other partner organisations.

Coordinating referrals and enquiries received via telephone and email, delivering a professional and compassionate service at every interaction.

Maintaining accurate records across multiple systems and databases, ensuring information is processed efficiently and to a high standard.

Arranging and scheduling appointments, assessments and visits for patients and families accessing Marie Curie services.

Working closely with Senior Nurses and multidisciplinary teams to support seamless care coordination and service delivery.

Providing reassurance and support to callers, handling sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism and confidence.

Strong customer service experience, with excellent communication and telephone skills.

Confidence using multiple IT systems simultaneously, with excellent digital and administrative skills.

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC) £12.92 per hour + enhancements
Contract: As & When contract - must be available to work weekends on a rota
