Join the team at Weybrook Park and help deliver an outstanding clubhouse and food & beverage experience for members and guests. We’re looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistant to support our busy team.
About the role
- Post: Food & Beverage Assistant
- Reporting to: Clubhouse Manager
- Support the day-to-day clubhouse and food & beverage operation
- Help facilitate events, functions, and busy service periods
- Help maintain high standards across service, compliance, and presentation
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Clubhouse Manager and Deputy in running the bar and food & beverage operations.
- Cover for the Clubhouse Manager and Deputy as needed.
- Model high standards of customer service and help the bar and food & beverage team to do the same.
- Work closely with the Kitchen team on any food-related issues.
- Head up small events in the Clubhouse.
- Ensure that proper standards of health, safety and hygiene are maintained in the bar and front of house.
- Record regular checks of equipment and assets in line with health, safety and hygiene requirements.
- Till and cash reconciliations.
- The ability to multitask while keeping a friendly, professional attitude.
- Handle anything from making/serving drinks, taking orders and processing payments, to serving food, clearing/resetting tables and polishing cutlery.
- Adaptable to quick room turnarounds, managing large numbers of guests simultaneously, and supporting kitchen staff during surges in demand.
- Ensure cleanliness is maintained within the bar, front of house, and back of House areas.
- Be available for opening and closing the Clubhouse.
