The Opportunity
We're seeking an ambitious graduate to join our team as a Land Operations Assistant. This role offers a unique pathway into operations management within the energy sector, providing exposure to cutting-edge projects in Carbon Storage, Geothermal, and Hydrocarbons.
You'll gain hands-on experience in Land operations while developing a comprehensive understanding of our business functions, including Finance, Business Development, Marketing, and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment).
About You
Essential:
- A science degree (preferably in Geology, Geophysics or related discipline)
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail focused hybrid environment
Desirable:
- Interest in the energy sector and sustainable technologies
- Proficiency with database especially Salesforce and Kimble
Your Responsibilities
Operations & Consultant Management:
- Maintain and update consultant information in EPI's Kimble database
- Ensure consultant compliance with right-to-work documentation, medical requirements, and CV validity
- Match consultant skillsets to project opportunities
- Working closely with EPI's Travel Team to ensure consultants get to and from the worksite on time
Project Support:
- Assist in preparing bids and proposals, including cost collation and document creation
- Create projects and work orders within our Salesforce and Kimble - EPI's CRM system
- Monitor day-to-day operations, coordinating with clients and consultants on logistics
Commercial Awareness:
- Track and update scheduled project revenue in the CRM
- Monitor revenue generation and ensure accurate reporting
- Develop forecasting and budgeting skills
- Support the accounts team with invoicing and related tasks
Compliance:
- Verify consultant compliance with EPI policies, client requirements, and host country regulations
Working Arrangements
Location: Fleet, Hampshire (must live within easy commuting distance - 45mins maximum)
Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week
- 3 days remote working
- 2 days in the Fleet office (Tuesday and Thursday)
- Flexibility negotiable for the right candidate
