Store and Yard Person
Location: Bridge of Allan
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Attendance Bonus: £100 per month

An opportunity has arisen for a Store and Yard Person to join our existing team. This role is based at our site in Bridge of Allan, working 30 hours per week Friday, Sunday and Monday.
The successful candidate will be confident in safely operating a forklift truck (FLT) within a busy site environment. This role involves a significant amount of outdoor work, so you must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
· Driving a fork lift around our busy yard & store
· Driving a manitou telescopic forklift
· Stacking pallets and boxes safely
· Using hand pallet trucks in store to move stock
· Manual handling of boxes and pallets
· Handling recycling materials – cardboard / plastics - using baler
· Stock control – assisting with stock takes when required
· Checking yard delivery’s - signing for delivery’s once checked
· Loading and un-loading delivery’s coming into the yard with external contractors
· Assisting with the tidiness and cleanliness of the yard
· Support duties in and around our DAF plant
Qualifications and Experience
· Forklift licence is required
· Previous experience in a warehouse/stock control environment is preferred but not essential
· In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the yard is kept clean, well-organised, and operating efficiently at all times.
