On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Project Support Officer (Inside IR35) for a contract which runs until 26th March 2027. This is a hybrid role and requires up to 3 days a week in Corsham.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
As a Project Support Officer, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the renewals process for all services as contracts approach expiry.
- Engage with users to confirm requirements and maintaining ongoing communication with users to ensure timely submission of all required renewal documentation.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and recorded accurately.
- Provide guidance on ordering and delivery processes to customers, including early engagement with suppliers where appropriate.
- Support the delivery phase for projects, ensuring outputs meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Produce regular reports on enquiries and deliveries for stakeholder briefings.
Essential Skills
- Experience in project support within busy faced paced departments ideally within central government.
- Experience across project support, service contract renewals, enquiries, administration support and related activities.
- Stakeholder engagement at all levels across the business.
- Strong self starter who is process driven with a proactive approach to all duties.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of supporting on business cases would be highly beneficial.
- Experience within the MOD in a similar role would be highly beneficial.
