Part-Time Sales & Office Administrator
Seafood Wholesale & Retail Business
Based in a vibrant food-focused community in SE London
Monday to Friday, 07:00am - 12:00pm (5 hours/day)
We’re a growing and fast-paced seafood wholesale business with two popular retail shops, a buzzing wholesale operation, and exciting events on the horizon. We're on the lookout for a proactive, organised, and friendly Sales & Office Administrator to join our small but mighty team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and enjoys balancing office admin with customer-facing sales support.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Inputting and managing daily sales orders
- Chasing up wholesale customer orders and ensuring order completeness
- Booking couriers and handling any delivery issues
- Answering phone calls and emails professionally and promptly
- Handling customer complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Running reports for the Managing Director and Operations Supervisor
- Logging staff sick and holiday days
- Maintaining a record of staff holiday allowance remaining
- Assisting with our due diligence and compliance admin
- Supporting retail shop and wholesale teams with general admin
- Helping coordinate events and tastings as needed
- Dealing with inbound wholesale client opportunities and following up professionally
- Taking on outbound client lead generation, including email automation tools
- Reaching out to existing clients to ensure they are well looked after and exploring upselling opportunities
You’ll Need To Be:
- Experienced in administrative support (essential)
- Confident, personable, and highly self-motivated
- Calm under pressure, organised, and adaptable
- A natural problem solver who can think on your feet
- Comfortable using basic office software and systems
- Professional in tone and approach, especially when dealing with customers
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience in food, hospitality, logistics, or FMCG sectors
- Familiarity with CRM/order systems, reporting, or inventory management
- Experience with outbound sales, lead generation, or client account management
- A passion for sustainable food and great produce
