We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Mortgage Advisor or a small Mortgage practice interested in partnering-up and expanding.
NGEN Financial Planning started in 2018 and provides asset management, financial planning, mortgages and equity release services to individual, professional and institutional investors.
NGEN is part of a Financial Services and FinTech Group (incorporating Financial Advisory, Asset Management and Technology Platforms.) Our backgrounds are in top-tier investment banking, and there is significant expertise within the group in the areas of Asset Management and Financial Technology. We have acquired and consolidated several Financial Services and Mortgage practices in the UK over the last seven years and integrated them into a streamlined high-quality offering. We have offices in London, Yorkshire, The Midlands and The Cotswolds.
The successful individual will benefit from significant opportunites for cross-selling between our Financial Services clients, centralised compliance, a high street office, administrative support and significant opportunities for growth, with revenue share agreements available. The role could be office based from our Cheltenham office, or hybrid, working from home and the office.
Role
- Provide professional mortgage and protection advice to new and existing clients
- Assess clients' financial situations and borrowing capacity
- Recommend appropriate mortgage products from a panel of lenders
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process from enquiry to completion
- Ensure all advice and documentation complies with regulatory requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, lenders and industry regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents and lenders
- Generate new business through referrals, networking and leads
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Broker or similar
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) preferred
- Strong understanding of mortgage products and the UK lending market
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client portfolios effectively.
Pay: £25,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
