The School of Pharmacy at the University of Reading wishes to appoint an experienced researcher to undertake the OPTI-MED project funded by the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit scheme.
OPTI-MED is an interdisciplinary project that aims to co-develop a medication optimisation intervention that empowers people with mild cognitive impairment or dementia who live at home, and their informal caregivers, to take an active part when making medication-related decisions in General Practice settings.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the research activities related to the OPTI-MED project. You will have:

Knowledge and application of co-design and participatory design principles
- Hands-on experience of developing and producing/making interventions.
- Strong oral and visual communication skills.
- Ability to engage with a wide range of people about healthcare.
- Strong collaborative skills, with demonstrable enthusiasm for working effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Good project management and time management skills
