We are looking for a tradesman who is competent at laying pour and roll bitumen felt roofs.
Our new roofer must be experienced in being the main tradesman on the job and used to taking full responsibility for the hands on side of the job.
Our new flat roofer must be competent at stripping off old flat roofs, renewing timber decking and associated details such as facias, guttering and soffits.
As a company, we are known nationally for quality workmanship and are proud to regularly restore some of the most beautiful buildings in the area. We do not work on new build sites.
Your working day would involve arriving at our depot for 7.15am. Management will assign you with a project, equipment, materials and a workmate. You will then take one of our company vehicles to one of our sites and perform the roofing task. You are then expected to return to our depot for 4.15pm to finish the working day.
Management will arrange all of the necessary access equipment, carry out initial liaison with the customer and set up all the materials/skips for the job.
The employment is on an 'on the books' PAYE basis, meaning tax is paid at source and pension contributions are made by the company. Holiday pay is also accrued and paid for five weeks of the year. Pay rate will be based upon experience and capability.
In the right circumstances, we may consider offering employment on a self employed basis.
