Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8am – 4pm | Term Time Only
Pay Rate: £130 - £220 per day (dependant on experience & qualifications etc)

Job Description
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils can thrive.
- Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
- Differentiate learning to support children with a range of abilities and additional needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, school staff and parents to support pupil development.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community during your placement.
Essential Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate for the Child Workforce registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
- Have professional experience working with children within a primary school setting.
- Be confident teaching across the primary age range and adapting lessons to meet pupils’ individual needs.
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be passionate, reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality education.
- Be able to travel reliably to schools across Burnley and the surrounding areas.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
- Knowledge of the current National Curriculum.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
- Strong assessment and planning skills.
- Up-to-date safeguarding and phonics training.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
