Due to continued expansion, Martins Group is looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our Volkswagen Camberley branch on a full-time permanent basis.
We are a highly successful and well-established dealership representing one of the world’s leading automotive brands, offering an excellent opportunity for a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join a strong, modern workshop environment.
The Role:
- Carry out complex diagnostics and advanced fault finding in line with Volkswagen standards
- Complete all aspects of servicing, repairs, and mechanical/electrical work to a high level
- Support accurate diagnosis of technical issues across a wide range of Volkswagen vehicles
- Conduct test drives to confirm repairs and vehicle performance
- Work closely with Service Advisors, Workshop Controller, and Technicians to support workflow efficiency
- Ensure all work is completed right first time to manufacturer standards
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment
- Take responsibility for your own tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
- Liaise effectively with the Workshop Controller and Workshop Manager
- Complete all job cards and technical documentation accurately and on time
- Keep up to date with Volkswagen technical bulletins, systems, and training requirements
- Support and guide other technicians when required
