Job Description:
The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales cycle, driving customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for growth. This role involves handling inbound enquiries, raising customer quotations, following up quotations, providing outstanding customer service throughout the process and seeking new opportunities to promote our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Quotations: Prepare and manage quotations arising from inbound enquiries and opportunities generated by the external sales team.
- Cross-Selling, Upselling and Opportunity Development: Proactively identify additional sales opportunities when handling enquiries, following up quotations and reviewing completed orders.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, developing a clear understanding of their requirements and future needs.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, opportunity and follow-up information within the CRM system, ensuring all relevant activity is properly recorded.
- Quotation and Opportunity Follow-Up: Proactively follow up outstanding quotations and sales opportunities, establishing customer requirements, timescales, decision-making processes and next steps.
- New Business Development: Actively seek and identify new business opportunities with both existing and prospective customers, generating leads and supporting continued sales growth.
Requirements:
- 2 years of B2B sales or sales experience
- Strong numeracy skills with a commercial mindset
- Excellent communication skills including written English
- Customer focused mindset with a determination to offer outstanding service
- Experience in using CRM and SAGE software
