Duties
- Safely operate a commercial van to deliver food and goods to various locations within assigned routes
- Plan delivery routes effectively to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting and physical effort, ensuring proper handling of all products
- Communicate clearly with customers, and team members to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company policies during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not required
- Experience operating vans or similar commercial vehicles in various conditions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading goods onto the vehicle
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and navigation tools for efficient route planning

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
