We are an established, independently-run dental practice whose focus is on outstanding customer service and exceptional dentistry. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism. About you:
- You are a passionate, people person who thrives as part of a team.
- You have good literacy and superb IT skills. You can work comfortably in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using practice management software
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing information or directing inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Manage patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Handle billing processes, including insurance verification, payments, and processing claims
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area to uphold professional standards
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and inventory management
Skills
- Previous office experience demonstrating strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills
- Administrative experience in a healthcare or dental setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Proficiency in office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or practice management systems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities efficiently
- Friendly demeanor with a positive attitude that fosters patient comfort and trust
Pay: £24,776.00-£26,000.00 per year
