Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Key Worker to play a vital role in supporting adult’s development and well-being. As a Key Worker, you will build meaningful relationships with adult’s their families, and the wider community to ensure each adult’s individual needs are met with care, consistency, and enthusiasm. Your energetic approach will help create a nurturing environment where adult’s with additional needs feel safe, valued, and empowered to explore, learn and develop independence.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while developing your skills in adult care and support services.
Duties
- Establish strong, trusting relationships with adults to support their emotional and social development
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each adult’s unique needs and progress
- Observe and record adult development, behaviors, and achievements to inform ongoing support strategies
- Support adults during daily routines such as mealtimes and activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and team members to share updates and coordinate care approaches
- Assist with transportation duties by driving adults safely to activities when required
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies, conducting regular safety checks, and managing risk assessments
Skills
- Proven experience working with children/adults in educational or care settings
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with adults, families, and colleagues
- Competence in using IT systems for record-keeping, reporting, and communication purposes
- Valid driving license with experience in safe transportation of adults (preferred)
- Knowledge of adult safeguarding policies and procedures
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing situations while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: £90.00-£100.00 per day
