Hazardous Waste Service Driver (ADR Licence)

Starting salary £31,000 - £34,000 plus bonuses putting pay to 38,000+
42 working hours typical week with potential overtime and overnight allowance available
Hazsol Environmental Ltd are recruiting a Hazardous Waste Service Rep to join out ever growing team
Looking for a driver that is happy to do some overnights approx 4 a month
The role encompasses:
· Collection and loading waste onto transport vehicle with the aid of material handling equipment making it safe and suitable for transportation, safely driving company vehicles up to 3.5 Tonne .
· Collecting waste from Customer sites and offloading at Waste Transfer stations
. Experience with carriage of dangerous goods
· Maintenance of a clean, safe and orderly vehicle reporting any defects that prevents duties being accomplished.
· Compliance with EU Drivers Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling and loading in the transport of Dangerous Goods
· Assisting in promoting growth of business in the region.
· Packing ,Sorting and overpacking of waste on customers site
· Waste survey of customers sites
.Upselling of services
· Hours are typically 7.00-4.30 Monday to Thursday and 7.00- 3.00 Friday
Where you’ll work / Experience
· Valid UK Drivers licence and ADR driving Licence, and forklift license would be an advantage (training provided if required).
· Knowledge of Health and Safety ,Environmental legislation and COSHH would be preferred
· Experienced in maintaining and developing relationships with potential and existing customers identifying sales opportunities and leads would be an advantage
· Must be personable and be able to talk with customers on sites
· Experience within the waste, recycling or industrial services sector is essential
· Driving experience essential
Previous hazardous waste experience is essential for this role
