About ICT North

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help drive new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives on generating new business. You'll take ownership of the sales pipeline, identifying opportunities, engaging prospective customers and converting leads into long-term client relationships.
This is a proactive role requiring someone who is confident making outbound approaches, building relationships and managing opportunities from initial contact through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and outreach.
- Conduct high volumes of cold calls to prospective customers.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Arrange and attend customer meetings, both remotely and in person.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle using the company CRM.
- Develop strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
- Represent ICT North professionally at networking events and industry functions where required.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys opening doors and creating opportunities.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience in a Business Development or New Business Sales role.
- A strong track record of outbound sales, outreach and cold calling.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence speaking with business owners and decision makers.
- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- A full UK driving licence.
Experience within the IT or managed services sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
