Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, adhering to food safety standards
- Ensure all drinks are prepared accurately and efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle transactions responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving in compliance with legal alcohol service regulations
- Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management to keep the bar well-stocked and ready for service
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality or restaurant experience with a passion for customer service
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently under pressure
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Effective time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team
- Familiarity with alcohol licensing laws and responsible serving policies
- Full clean driving licence preferred.
