This is an exciting opportunity to work at the Winchester Auto Barn as a Chef de Partie or a Junior Sous Chef. The venue is set in the beautiful Test Valley countryside just outside Stockbridge, between Stockbridge and Sutton Scotney and caters for breakfast, lunch, live music events, conferences, local gatherings and much more.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the finest fresh food with a keen eye for detail and a desire to perform to the highest level.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Help ensure the smooth-running of the kitchen working closely with the senior chefs.
- Preparing the ingredients for a more senior chef.
- Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
You will require:
- Good knowledge and background with fresh food.
- Be a good kitchen team player.
- Able to follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to.
Due to our rural location you will need to have your own transport. There is no public transport.
Salary dependant on experience and excellent tips.
