Job Summary
JuniorStrikers is a growing children’s football coaching company delivering fun, engaging sessions for children aged 18 months–6 years.
We’re looking for an experienced, energetic and reliable Lead Football Coach to join our Sunday team in Victoria Park, East London.
The role is Sunday mornings (approximately 9am–1pm), leading sessions, supporting and developing an Assistant Coach, and taking responsibility for delivering high-quality sessions.

Responsibilities
- Lead fun, engaging and age-appropriate football sessions
- Manage sessions confidently and independently
- Support, guide and train the Assistant Coach working alongside you
- Engage confidently with children and parents
- Set up, pack away and take responsibility for coaching equipment
- Maintain a safe, positive and welcoming environment
Essential Requirements
- Previous football/sports coaching experience
- Experience coaching young children
- Confident leading sessions independently
- FA Level 1 / Introduction to Coaching Football or equivalent
- Safeguarding qualification
- First Aid/Paediatric First Aid
- Enhanced DBS, or willing to obtain one before starting
- Reliable and punctual with consistent Sunday availability
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Animated, energetic and playful — being a “big kid” is part of the job!
Pay & Progression
£16–£18 per hour, depending on experience.
Uniform and training in the JuniorStrikers programme will be provided, with opportunities for additional hours and responsibility as the business expands.
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 per week
