Scope: To support the technical department, whilst providing technical support to all departments within the business to ensure the efficient delivery of development sites.
Hours: 8.30am – 5.15pm (Mon- Thurs)
8.30am – 4.00pm (Fri)

Report to: Design Manager / Technical Manager/Director
Location: Lancashire Office, Chorley
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support and information to Construction, Commercial and Sales Departments and other members of the Design Team;
· Accurately update existing house types and provide new designs when required;
· Effectively manage Building Regulation Applications in a timely manner;
· Maintain good understanding of the Building Regulations, SAP and construction issues that affect house building;
· Prepare sales and legal information, conveyance plans, sales area layouts, external finishes, etc;
· Obtain and check information from external architectural consultants, suppliers and manufacturers for inclusion within the working drawing pack;
· Visit sites to carry out inspections of the house types;
· Ensure amended drawings are issued in accordance with Company Procedures.
· Promote new and improved drafting procedures and techniques to help with producing house type working drawings;
· The preparation and upkeep of Anwyl Construction standard details.
The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

· AutoCAD proficient (essential)
· Time management
· Excellent organisational skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload
· Previous experience of working as Architectural CAD Technician or assistant.
