Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, ensuring that our restaurant delivers exceptional service and high-quality food. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team, maintain food safety standards, and create an inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards
- Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while enhancing their skills in food preparation and service
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked
- Implement effective cost control measures to optimise profitability without compromising quality
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and guest preferences
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including kitchen areas and dining spaces
Requirements
- Proven experience in a restaurant management role with strong supervisory experience
- Background in food preparation, bartending , culinary arts is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous
- Familiarity with barista duties or beverage service is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
