Work Location: Birmingham, with regional collection travel
BDI Securities is currently seeking a reliable, safety-conscious CIT Collection Driver to join our operations team in Birmingham. In this role, you'll be responsible for the secure collection and transport of cash, coins, and valuables across a regional route covering Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Bolton, and up to Glasgow, helping keep cash supply moving safely across the north-west and into Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport cash and valuables securely between customer locations, ATMs, and collection points across the assigned route (Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Bolton, Glasgow)
- Plan and follow multi-stop collection schedules across regions
- Follow strict security protocols and procedures at all times
- Inspect, maintain, and report the condition of the assigned vehicle
- Comply with traffic, parking, and company safety regulations
- Maintain detailed and accurate transaction records
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
- Respond professionally to unexpected challenges or schedule changes
Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence (required), clean driving record preferred
- Driving experience required
- CVIT SIA licence — desirable, not required. If you already hold a valid CVIT SIA licence, you'll receive a £1,000 bonus on completion of your probationary period. If you don't yet hold one, BDI Securities will put you through a fully funded training programme to obtain it.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
- Comfortable with extended regional travel and overnight stays as the route requires
- No live CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcy declarations
Pay: £13.71-£14.71 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 per week
