Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized efficiently
- Deliver outstanding patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing reassurance to reduce anxiety
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment, managing clinical waste, and maintaining a clean treatment environment
- Communicate clearly with patients in fluent English, providing instructions for post-treatment care and addressing any concerns
- Collaborate effectively with team members to uphold high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety
Qualifications
- Recognized qualification as a Dental Nurse from an accredited training program
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and appointment management
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude and proactive approach
